Reality TV - what can you say about it that is not cliched and said before a thousand times. So it is best to just watch it and enjoy the ones that appeal to you
and turn off the ones that you cannot stand. Some of them go too far and offend lots of viewers, especially those with attitudes that are not in line with
freedom of the individual. For my first trick ladies and gentlemen is The Lost Tribes, an Australian production on Channel Nine on Sunday nights at 6:30 pm. Three families are sent to Namibia, South Africa, and the Mentawai Islands off Sumatra in Indonesia. These families come from suburban Australia and have no idea about life beyond the suburbs. They are thrown into the deep end into cultures that are far removed from the modern world. They have to feed pigs, hunt in the jungle or the desert and carry water for kilometers. They are dirty and without running water and hot showers.
